Privacy

Last updated October 2026.

Short version: this site sets no cookies. It keeps nothing on your device. When you leave the home page, your country, approximate city and IP address, the kind of device and browser you use, and how far down the page you got, are sent to a private Discord channel that only I can read. Beyond that, the only personal information I end up with is whatever you choose to send me, by email or through the contact form.

What this site stores on your device

Nothing. This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage.

What I record when you visit

A visit to the home page leads to one message in a private Discord channel. It is sent when you leave the page, or after a few minutes if you stay: the country and approximate city you are connecting from, your IP address, and the furthest section of the page you scrolled to. It also says what you are browsing on: phone, tablet or desktop, the operating system, the browser, the phone's brand and model when your browser shares it, and your screen and window size. My host, Vercel, reads the location and IP from your connection; your browser reports the section and the screen size, and the rest comes from the user agent string every browser sends. A location worked out from an IP address is approximate and often wrong, especially on mobile networks. I use the message to see where visitors come from, which parts of the page get read, and to spot abuse. I don't build profiles, I don't link it to anyone, and I don't pass it on.

At most one message goes out per IP address every half hour. Nothing is sent if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, or if you block scripts on this site. The Hub pages send the same arrival and leaving messages, without the scroll position. The terms and privacy pages send nothing.

What you send me

You can write to me in two ways. The email address opens your own email client, and nothing passes through this site: the message goes from your email provider to mine like any other email. Or you can use the contact form. This site then sends what you type (your name if you give one, your email, your message, when you need it, and the language of the page) to a second private Discord channel that only I can read. The form stores nothing on your device.

I use it to reply to you and to talk about the work. I don't sell it, I don't share it, and I won't add you to a mailing list.

Who else is involved

  • Discord. The visit messages and the contact form messages sit in my Discord channels, so Discord stores them under its own terms until I delete them.
  • Typefaces. They are served from this site. Your browser makes no request to Google or any other font service.
  • Hosting. Like any website, the server that hands you these pages may keep standard access logs (IP address, the page requested, a timestamp) for security and diagnostics.

There is no advertising, no pixel and no third-party script anywhere on this site.

How long I keep it

Enquiries stay in my inbox, or in the form's Discord channel, for as long as they're useful: while we're talking, and for a while afterwards in case the project comes back. Ask me to delete yours and I will. Visit messages stay in their Discord channel until I delete them.

Your choices

Email legal@felipeariza.com to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. You don't have to give me a reason. To have a visit message removed, send me your IP address and roughly when you visited so I can find it. For a form message, tell me the email address you used.

Changes

If any of this changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
